Sophie and Cathal’s Vietnamese/Northern Irish Liverpool Wedding

And so I would like to offer a blessing from Sophie’s heritage - a Vietnamese proverb about the power of two hearts united. As I don’t speak Vietnamese, I’m going to ask Sophie to read it in Vietnamese for me, and Cathal to read it in English:

"Thuận vợ thuận chồng, tát biển Đông cũng cạn."
When husband and wife are united in heart, they can even dry up the Eastern Sea.

And from the English speaking world, I offer another blessing, taken from the lyrics from a song that I know both of you love:
